ABOUT ME
I’m a former prosecutor, community advocate, and proud Hoosier with more than a decade of experience in both criminal and civil litigation. As Of Counsel at Giles Law Group, I practice general litigation with a specialty in criminal defense, family law, and civil dispute resolution. I’ve been learning about immigration law since early 2025.
I graduated from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, then began my career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County (Chicago) before spending five years as an Assistant Attorney General for Illinois in the High Tech Crimes and Environmental Crimes Bureaus. During that time, I prosecuted Internet Crimes against Children and became the state’s point person for anti–human trafficking efforts, building task forces and coalitions to strengthen system-wide responses to a critical issue. As a civil litigator, I fought against Big Tech privacy violations and was involved in class action suits against Google, Facebook, and Amazon. I also defended hacking victims, including small businesses and local hospitals.
I’m accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US), the gold-standard credential for privacy professionals. I also serve as an advisory member of the Legal and Insurance Workgroup of the Indiana Executive Cybersecurity Council.
Now that my family and I are back home in Indianapolis, we’re proud to be building coalitions for progress in the community that raised me. I serve as the Executive Vice Chair of the IU McKinney School of Law Alumni Association Board and as a core leader for Hoosier Asian American Power (HAAP). An ardent supporter of the arts, I also serve as Board President of the Epilogue Players and sing with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir as a second soprano. I’m also an active member of both the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA) and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: when we serve with integrity and compassion, we make our communities and our state stronger for everyone.
